I read an opinion tonight that the team may have quit on Quenneville. I hope that isn't the case.

Need to see Chicago's woes continue. The Flames are only 3 points out of 6th now.

Big 5-1 win against the Leafs last night. The Leafs are hanging onto 8th spot, but have lost 4 in a row now.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have quit on him. Goaltending has been absolutely brutal. Our goal scorers have basically quit putting the puck in the net. If you were to tell me that Patrick Kane would only have 12 goals at this point during the season, I would have told you that you were crazy. He has got to get it going.

I think he will. He is too talented to stay in this funk.

Emery sure isn't the answer to their woes, that's for sure. Crawford has to tighten it up for them to do anything.

HUGE 2-0 start for the Hawks tonite at Rangers four minutes in. :shock:

Predators acquire Hal Gill from the Habs:


The Nashville Predators acquired defenseman Hal Gill and a future fifth-round draft pick from the Montreal Canadiens on Friday in exchange for Blake Geoffrion, Robert Slaney and a second-round pick.

Nice rental for our playoff run, but not the impact player many here in town were hoping for. Maybe we aren't done dealing.

I still believe that Suter will be traded before the deadline and this move will help ease the transition. Ryan Ellis better get ready!

Calgary at Los Angeles tonight on HNIC, Cant WAit!!!

Flames win and get into a tie with Los Angeles for 8th in the West. Finally in a playoff spot!! Kipper gets the shut-out and Cammy scores the game winner and plays another solid game at Center. If Kipper keeps up his play, he will be a legit candidate for HART TROPHY, league MVP!!!

I can't believe how many Flames fans are in Los Angeles for this game!!

the Penguins announced this morning that they have signed F James Neal to a 6 year contract extension through the 2017-18 season. the deal will begin next season and has an average annual value of $5 million per season.

after scoring only 1 goal after being acquired from the Dallas Stars last season Neal has a career high 30 goals so far this season. he and Evgeni Malkin have the led the Pens in goals and points all season. he has proven to be the point producer the Pens have needed in the absence of Sidney Crosby.

I wish Bernie Nicholls has some high end cards on the market, like something from the Cup or even a nice patch/auto of him. Bernie Nicholls was on HNIC after hours after the game last night and after a lengthy interview and showing many of his highlites, it reminded me how much i used to like Bernie Nicholls, especially when he was an LA King.

Looking on Ebay though, for a player that was as great as he was he sure doesn't have very many modern cards on the Market, especially high end. He has a few autos from sets like masterpieces and Parkhurst, but thats about it. Didn't see any patch cards either!
