Overtime in Chicago!

Flyers dropped a point to LA tonight, 3-2 in OT. 
Knew it was gonna be a scrappy game when Richards tied up with Pronger in the 1st period. I laughed and said, "Yeah, that's smart! Stick your head in the gator's mouth!" :lol: A lot of penalties but only 1 fight.
Even though a couple puck bunnies were screaming in my good ear and some db kept hitting my wife and I with a black and orange pom pom, it was still a great night! I hung out for about half an hour for autographs. But, after the 5th guy drove out waving, I got fed up. I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather have them flip me off instead. Basicly says the same thing.
Flyers/Blues next Saturday is still up in the air. Wife said I could only go if I sell some cards to pay for my ticket. Have to see what I can scrounge up and make a list.

Looks like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is off to a good start in Edmonton. Hat trick last night, and 4 total goals in the first 3 games.

I'd guess Hopkins will stay in NHL. G$ gotta be happy for his guy.
Colorado is on fire. Where are the haters now saying what crappy trades they made getting V in nets. Giggy looks to be back in form. Always funny seeing guys suck in Toronto, then play well once they are out of there.
Could be a good night for fights.
Big Mac should get his first bout as a Pen at the X tonight vs Kassian. Could be a dandy.

it sucked watching the Jets get their first win over the Pens last night.
Deryk Engelland and Chris Thorburn fought but Thorburn started off strong but Engelland definitely won the fight.

EDIT: the blood on Engelland's face was from a cut he received in practice when a teammate's skate grazed his cheek.

When your head coach gets a game miscounduct, you know things arent going well :lol:
Bruins have way too many hot head douches on their team if they are going to play poorly. Half the team cant control themselves including the coach.

Why does Minnesota scratch Kassian last night. Dumb
Philly-Sens game was fun. Love Rinaldo, although he just got sent down. Shelley is coming back in time for King. Kid had a nice showing in his 5 games filling in. I'm sure he will be back. Love this video of Thornton giving the kid the business. Too bad he didn't scrap with him. ALthough Thornton is weight class above Zac.
