Cam Newton Exquisites continue to break $200, which is impressive for not having any g/u or auto included on it. In fact, 2010 Exquisite singles as a whole are still doing reeeeeeally well. A Suh patch/auto went for $225, Tebow and Bradford are incredibly expensive, Colt McCoy cards are being gobbled up by deep-pocketed Longhorns fans... I don't know if even Upper Deck could have predicted this positive a response to their NCAA-themed Exquisite, even though Exquisite has always been a big seller for them.

Jeter, ichiro, etc are getting some ridiculous coin and Willie Stargell patches too. Never realized his patch stuff goes that high

Cam Newton Exquisites continue to break $200, which is impressive for not having any g/u or auto included on it. In fact, 2010 Exquisite singles as a whole are still doing reeeeeeally well. A Suh patch/auto went for $225, Tebow and Bradford are incredibly expensive, Colt McCoy cards are being gobbled up by deep-pocketed Longhorns fans... I don't know if even Upper Deck could have predicted this positive a response to their NCAA-themed Exquisite, even though Exquisite has always been a big seller for them.

I thought I could sneak into going for the full patch set but no way now. Plus, I've noticed Mickey mantle has yet to surface out of the checklist from the patch set

I've tracked almost all of them and even lincecum patch was nuts

At least the hof guys like sandberg, ryan, Seaver, etc are decent so I may start with those under 50-60 range

I'm still shocked that a few broke a grand considering the actual 1/1 was up for 999.99 bin and didn't sell

I mean, the patches look much nicer on the /24's but never would have guessed it would exceed the actual 1/1 of that same card

Im thinking with the total set being at /24, I'm sure there are quite a few like me who would like to go for the full set hence the price on these big name players

I think even Reggie Jackson broke a hundred yesterday or close to it

This is cool, this is the back of the game used jersey inside neck line. Unreal these patches are going for so much. My buddy got one, the one with the comm. patch and it went for 885, even with a guy saying he entered the wrong amount and retracted a bid. I love it when people retract bids and state they entered the wrong amount. i.e. Card is at 405.09, then bidder puts in a bid at 669.99, but then retracts it saying they entered the wrong amount, it should have been 66.99, well how could that be, the high bid was at $405 when you put in the bid. I think that card could have went higher IMHO.

I wouldn't argue with that. I just think that college collectors are having a ball with a high-end college release.
