How do Matt Bush's autos still sell for this much?

I recently bought 100 game used and autos and this was in it:

I can't believe someone paid almost $10 for this card. What are people thinking? Is it b/c he was a #1 pick? Do Brien Taylor's autos sell for this much?

His first year at spring training he didn't have a lot so we got him on stickers. I asked how many he would like to sign and he said he would do the whole sheet plus more if we wanted. So I have almost 2 full sheets of stickers he signed. At the time this seems great but now its just funny.

Never underestimate the collectors' ability to overspend on cards for no real good reason. Sort of like this guy I know who buys a lot of Jeremy Jeffress autos... :sad:

I sell Taylor Auto's for $20 at shows. I know it's hard for some people on the boards to believe, but "collector's" still exist. Not everyone sees cardboard as a commodity.
