How low will prices of 2010 Bowman Draft go before release?

I'm looking to get a case or 2 of 2010 Bowman Draft this year and I wanted to wait and see how low it'd get before release. Global has them at 699.99 right now for their "cyber monday" promotion, which is the best legit deal I've found so far. Does anyone know where they can get them for a better price?

I agree, but I don't know how confident I would be about pre-buying after watching BC completely tank.

+1, and I will add to this that I would not preorder any products going forward, unless the checklist is ridiculous like Bowman(which is not going to happen too often).

Take it from someone who preordered Pro Debut series 2, Bowman Chrome, and Topps Update-all of which fell quite a bit after release.

I heard the same when it comes to print run. That along with a really soid checklist should keep prices around $700.

If I see anything close to $600ish...I'll be a buyer!

I also feel that so many people were burned by TC and BC that even though the print is less in BDP...many will be more hesitant to buy in until things are confirmed by Topps.

I think there may be a dip to around $625-$650ish shortly after release when the dealers rush to dump off their cases. Then they should rise back up to the high 600's/low 700's a few weeks later. That happens every year.

Unless of course, Topps highly allocates this product to make up for the TC/BC fiasco, then prices may never drop.

I can't see cases getting near $600 prior to release, but you never know.

I think we are done seeing the huge case price drops. Here is my reasoning. The is the first baseball release that was pre-sold after the Strasburg injury. So my thought is the bandwagon case prospectors who got reemed on topps and bowman chrome did not pre buy. In addition I think those who normally pre buy cases probably scaled back a bit so I think much less was pre ordered which means Topps printed much less since they print to order. I am thinking the next few Topps issues are going to be very nice as I think a bunch of cases busters lost a ton on topps/bowman chrome and will not be busting as much but the single/ set buyers are still going to be there. So what that means is less busters plus same number of singles/set buyers equals a nice little bump for breakers over the next few months.

Totally agree with both Matt and Andrew. I would also add that 2010 BC singles are selling really nicely right now...so the taste in people's mouths isn't quite as sour at the moment.

Also curious if anyone has been able to confirm/refute it actually coming out on the 14th or 15th.
