I just hope they get rid of the defense in Road to the Show - nothing stupider than waiting through loading screens to field fly balls. Also baserunning needs to be fixed. So dumb to have to watch other players entire at bats.

I haven't played since 07 but I actually enjoyed the baserunning segments.

I remember a couple of games where I briefly made the majors and was put in as a pinch runner during a close game. It felt exciting knowing that my guy could score the winning run.

That's the only bad thing about having an Xbox 360 - no baseball game comparable to MLB The show.

I actually enjoy the baserunning aspect of the game as well but I do find it very boring waiting for the entire at-bat to complete, espeically if you lead off the inning with a hit and then 3 different 12-pitch at bats go by with no result.

Agreed if they would just fast forward to the deciding pitch of the at bat it would make the game go way better. As it is I just take off for second and third asap to either get thrown out or rack up steals to move the game along.
