First of all I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to my collection. I need to give major public shoutouts to magicpapa, cobrasvt29, scotty21690 and George_Calfalas for helping me out.
Magic and I finished a deal for this and a sealed 1994 superstars sampler pack of Mo Vaughn (pretty rare) and of cousrse Michael threw in some extras (thank you):
Cobrasvt29 always shoots me links to auctions and hits BIN's for me for stuff that he knows I want. He called me and told me he got these for me:
They are 1996 Zenith Diamond Stud cards which were at the top of my list for my player collections. He also picked up some more goodies for me that I thought I scanned - but can't find them now. Several Artist Proof's/serial numbered cards/jerseys etc of my three guys. Thanks Chad!
After posting the two diamond cards in the 90's thread George_Calfalas posted that he picked up 2 Klesko's and wanted to see if anyone had a spare to trade. I didn't but asked George to sell it to me... No Dice. George sent this out and I got it in about 2 days, Thanks George!
I now want to go for the set, and I've mised out on several recently, but I know they'll pop up again and hopefully I won't be so strapped for cash.
Last but not least, scotty21690 and I closed a deal for a Goudey card that he was selling. Well low and behold, Scott couldn't find the card so he immediately refunded my paypal and told me he was going to take care of me. Well, I received a package that contained a good amount of 70's cards of star players and this bad boy:
Piedmont back of Rude Manning! I couldn't believe it. This was a great way to jumpstart my vintage collection. Thank you, Scott.
- Now to some pickups over the past month or two (don't post maildays too often)
For the Vintage PC:
Christy Mathewson:
and this GEM:
I always wanted a Maris auto and felt this was a very clean and unique piece so I treated myself to it!
Here's some random pickups!
Some Chipper PC goodies!
and a bunch more (I'm talking about 200+ base and inserts unscanned)
This is by far my favorite purchase. I talked to this guy who collected Tim Hudson for a while and was deciding to sell off his collection. Well this guys had almost EVERY card that I've been missing. This is a mailday for a player collector. Bringing in all of these rare parallel cards at once was simply amazing. Without further adu, here's my favorites from what I bought from him:
These now complete my rainbow of Omega RC's of Hudson. I only need the 1999 Bowman Chrome International/100 and I'll be set!
Essential Credentials Future and Now numbered /27 and /34
The rest can be seen here (first couple of pages) if anyone is interested

I picked up over 125 serial numbered cards (Most numbered to 100 or less) from 1999-2002 and close to 40 base cards that I was missing. I told the guy that after seeing all the new additions to my collection I don't know how I even considered myself a player collector of Tim.
Here's my other favorite Hudson pickup
Sorry my scanning sucks - hope you all enjoyed!
Thanks,
