Topps Q/C on certain 1/1 cards is suspect. Suspect in that one would almost have to wonder whether they planned to screw it up on purpose to get people more interested in the other parallels/cards. By this I mean the card in my avatar and its ghost image on top of the real image.

EDIT: Centering looks fine to me, I just took a look. Although...who cares how the card grades when its in that condition? Grading 1/1s is a waste IMO.

For such an important card, that centering is just SAD. ::facepalm::

My Edinson Rincon Super has the same problem.

Or Topps couldnt care less if you get a gem grade on it. Pretty sure they have no motivation to make sure every super is a gem...

It is interesting to consider Topps' motivation in all this. Should Topps be motivated to ensure the most highly sought out cards by advanced collectors be in pristine shape? Surely some of these cards will be used in media outlets and other places, at the very least they will be shown extensively by some whom possess them.

Putting up a piece of crap with poor QC could make those not in tune with the hobby think hobbyists are a little stranger than they had previously thought...

You can guarantee ebay will see this auction and when they do, there is a very good chance they will pull it as your advertising Blowout. All it takes is one other company selling boxes to whine. Heck, ebay pulls mine when they catch me saying visit www.billripken.com for more info. Although it's not a site selling anything and only for info, they have some reason.

They don't email asking you to remove it/ That seems kinda dumb.

Yeah, that's pretty risky to put advertising in there. Name dropping like that may just be the thing for eBay to pull the auction without warning. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
