My tenant arrived and gave me this late tonight as an impromptu gift:
My night got better!
Little did he know I have some special memories of seeing The Straw hit down in Florida while he was with the Dodgers. That guy was a special hitter for a while but I didn't know why until I saw him play in person-- his forearms were so strong he flicked the bat around like a toothpick; he hit laser-shots during BP and then had some big hit, maybe a HR off of Danny Darwin or some other non-star reliever. The Dodgers are a cool team. I'm sorry we don't get to see them live up here in Boston very much, but at least occasionally now (though I haven't been to one of those games.)
