And get kidnapped? I don't think so.

Here's how it would go down: We'll meet Sunday afternoon in a crowded part of town. Lets say High St, by the courthouse. I'll be walking towards Market St and you'll be walking away from it at precisely 1:00 (when the courthouse clock goes off.) Have a black suitcase ready with $100 in unmarked, non-sequential US twenty-dollar bills. I'll have a suitcase as well, and be wearing a black suit. Tell me what you plan on wearing. We will accidentally bump into each other, drop our suitcases, and pick up the other person's suitcase and continue walking. The suitcase you pick up will have a key inside it to a 1998 Ford Econoline that will be parked on Miner Street. Use the key to open the back of the van, which will have the card inside of it. Take the card, and leave the key in the van. You will be watched so don't try anything funny. If the suitcase does not have $100 in it, the van will be destroyed.

I sold an item one time and a lady wanted me to just meet her instead of shipping it since it was heavy. It didnt work out. She got mad because she wanted me to take off work to meet her since our work schedules conflicted. We cancelled deal.

I meet strange men in parking lots at 5AM all the time so it would be no big deal to me.*

I once had a guy show up at my house unannounced to drop off some cards I won on eBay after I had already paid with Paypal. He kept the S&H funds too... :benson:

He used the funds for gas.

He probably should have bounced the idea off me before taking the initiative.

Was he wearing a postal workers outfit?

I had a seller (approximately $50 purchase) hand-deliver a package once. We lived on the same road...I paid...and it was in my hands within an hour. I had already paid shipping, but good enough for me.

Now, I didn't know we were neighbors, so I was shocked to see a guy standing at my door with baseball cards; however, it's the quickest delivery I've ever had.

I bought a card off a good friend who lives a few houses over. I paid for half of the shipping.

I made that mistake once. Met a local guy at a Starbucks and know won't leave me alone. The tool even messaged me this morning asking if I wanted tickets to a game this weekend. Creepy. I feel like I have a stalker now

Would you do it?

In the past three weeks, I've had two buyers win cards from me and each lived no more than 7 miles away from me. I immediately emailed and offered to just drop off the card the next day and they then wouldn't have to worry about any s/h charges. And what do you think I get in a response? Absolutely nothing.

They did pay quickly, I'll give them that but if someone offered to just drop off cards to you and take off the s/h charges, would you do it?

i wpuld make them pay in cash, because they can file a paypal claim and you have no proof of tracking. this may have already been said, i didnt read what everone wrote
