I totally agree that the seller's shipping price was absurd considering he sent it for only $.34 but his S/H was revealed prior to you bidding. So by you placing a bid you're agreeing to the seller's rules. I'd leave a neutral as something like this doesn't deserve a negative feedback. After all, if you thought $3 was too high then you shouldn't have bid in the first place.

After you emailed the seller making them aware of the situation what did they respond with?
I mean you did email him right?

Huh? He said it came postage due, meaning he owed the post office $.34 when the card arrived. The seller didn't put enough stamps/postage on the package.

Ahhh, sorry that I didn't read it clearly the first time round. Obviously the principle is much more important than the money in this case. I still wouldn't drop a negative for something like this though.

If you just email him telling him the situation, he'll more than likely do something to make it up to you. If he doesn't respond or tells you he won't do anything about it or responds with a sarcastic remark, then drop an N-bomb on him.

This is a day that will go down in FCB history...the day the facepalm smiley was installed.

Did they just sent it in a PWE with the wrong amount of postage on it? Was it a bubble mailer with stamps?

I had a buyer once contact me when they received a card from me postage due. In my situation, I paid through Paypal shipping, but the envelope wasn't thick enough for Delivery Confirmation so they made the buyer pay the difference to get it up to Priority.
