If i were selling cards on the internet and mailing them out daily to customers, i personally would not advertise in the return address that they were coming from a card shop. Doesn't that just send a flag to any mail thief that "hey, theres a baseball card in here that might be worth money"?

Luckily, i haven't had any card lost in the mail. Granted, I've never bought a Bagwell that I would be too worried about being stolen. But i have heard on the board before about thievery in the post office, and wanted to know from my fellow FCBers - Do you put a shop name in the return address? And if you do, aren't you worried?

I use a PO Box return address for all ebay sales, as it is not only mail theft can can be an issue...I remember on the old Beckett boards of some members houses being broken into and their cards stolen....that was enough for me to spend the $35 a year for a PO Box....

It's something I wonder about, but mail theft is a federal crime. A card sent without signature confirmation is likely not worth randomly ripping off from a mailbox. Of course, people are stupid, and I've had things stolen out of the mail before, including inside the post office, but it's so rare I don't worry about it.

I'm more worried about my friend who bought bright yellow envelopes with "****** TEST RESULTS" printed in big black letters on it sending me a letter at work.

I bought a set of cards off eBay it came in a white card box with my addy just written on the box and it was taped shut but on the end it said what set it was. I was shocked to say the least
