Knowing what you know now, do you take Strasburg or Trout?

They made the right choice.
Knowing then what they know now, I would still take Strasburg with the knowledge that I would also draft Harper in 2010.
Why? Storen was a dominant closer last year. Were they supposed to predict he was going to be out for half of this season? They take Trout with the 10th pick instead of Storen...

The primary reasons they drafted Storen where they did were because 1) they had a pre-draft deal with him, as he was an unprotected pick and 2) they needed a fast-rising reliever.
I understand why they drafted Storen at the time.
But knowing what they know now, I bet they draft Trout.
If Trout turns out to be the star he is projected to be, could the Nationals afford to keep him for more than a few seasons?

This is the team that blew their *** over Jayson Werth, remember...

That is where my train of thought is as well. The Nationals are in first place without Trout, and when Storen comes back that will definitely help them down the stretch.pitching > hitting
Agreed.Strasburg.
He has the best stuff I've ever seen. If he stays healthy throughout his career (which I hope he does, but i could see him messing up his arm), he has a chance to become one of the best pitchers in the last decade.
Trout is a very good player, but I don't see him becoming a once in a decade talent.
