JPs 2008 season is pretty damn impressive as is this years but Snider's minor league average of .302 is a lot better than JPs .275.
JP had seems to have hit more HRs, more RBIs, and less K's, but snider had a higher average, better OBP, and SLG.
I wouldnt exactly call that TREMENDOUSLY superior.
At the same time I think playing in LV the last couple years certainly helped JP!

Hopefully he follows the Snider career path:
1) Get the call and have an OPS of .803 in your first year.
2) Struggle in the first few months of your second year as you make adjustments
3) Cito says "clearly you can't hack it, you just struggled"
4) Go back to the minors
5) Crush ball
6) Get the Call...again.
7) Cito Remembers you and you can't hit. Cito will play you when he feels like it.
8) Cito loves veterans. You may be better than Molina in every offensive category but Cito loves Molina's leadership. You will now sit on the bench, son.
9) Cito is now filling out his lineup card with Overbay and Molina, Cito is a great manager. Cito was wondering why you let DeWayne Wise go. Cito loved Wise. Cito saw wise save Buerhle's perfect game and Cito respects players that do things for their teammates. Cito loves leadership.
