It will be 2011 in short time, so what's everyone's New Year's resolution for your collection? I am going to try and take a hiatus from other sports cards and focus my collecting funds on my Kopitar pc. I want to see for the first few months of the year if I just collect one player, will my budget stay in check. If I see a difference in my monthly balance and while still furthering my collection, then I might just stick with Kopitar cards only full time.

Let's see what your ambitions are for the new year whether it's chasing a whale, re-focusing, or just continuing the same track. Happy New Year everyone!

Want to try and get one copy of all of Taylor Hall's true RC's. Might also attempt this with Brayden Schenn as well, although both of these guys will probably have /99 The Cup RC's so they will be pretty expensive, but even if i get all the RC's minus the Cup i will be happy.

1) Bust less wax, much much less. Please help me with this one guys!
2) Build a PC that I don't get bored with. I usually end up picking nice cards without any real reason and then I figure out after that they don't really fit anywhere. I need to be less flighty or else do it less frequently.
3) Spend more time HERE!

1. acquire a Marc-Andre Fleury GU'ed stick

2. finish my 1971-72 Topps set (I haven't added any cards to it in months ::facepalm:: )

3. add more TTM auto's

4. continue my streak of not busting any wax (I am 2 years wax free)

Add more to my Saints PC. Pass the 1000 unique Jeff Carter cards. I'm just shy of 900 right now but with the rate Panini and UD have been seeding him in sets this year another 100+ new ones should be an easy task.

Maintain my scanning ban on my stuff. Broke my all-in-one and I refuse to buy another simply for the sake of card scanning. ;)

I'd like to get a few nice auto/patches of Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, and if my budget allows, get a Crosby SPA rookie auto and a Gretzky auto. Probably a few other random Hawks autos and patches.

I honestly have no idea...

Continue with my Bruins Projects and collecting Zach Hamill cards.

As much as I'd love to say "bust less wax", it won't happen. I love busting wax.

Have enough money to actually collect anything. That's my only goal. :)

Just too start collecting and to stay a hockey fan...

I have been in and out of hockey for years... and being that I live in MN and LOVE HS hockey, I figure I better watch some NHL...

I watched the Olympics last year for hockey, and I really saw how much hockey meant to a lot of people...

I am a Crosby fan, but only because he played a Shattuck-St. Mary's. Evgeni Malkin is my favorite out of them all... and the Wild is my favorite team.

I only own about 3 hockey autos and 2 GU (I forgot who the autos are, but I have a Pierre Marc Brouchard gu and a Sidney Crosby GU that I pulled) and only one "valuable" card (2008-09 Victory Sidney Crosby GOLD, pulled it out of a .50 pack).

So I will start by opening some Upper Deck I suppose and hope for some good Young Guns RC
