Mark Rogers. Brewers 1st Rnd. Pick in 2004. Had stellar stuff, but has been an injury bust since the draft.

Now, he's in Brevard County. They have him on some sort of pitch/inning count. He has yet to go over 3 IP at any point this year, yet he starts each game he's in. No hope for a winning decision, and has taken a loss.

Here's the thing: He's got 26K in 26.1 IP and his ERA is 1.37

But that begs the question: has he figured out his issues, or is it a symptom of the regimine he's on? And besides that, what's the next step?

FYI, he's 23.

Have you ever seen a prospect stay in baseball after going through what he has gone through?

Two years without playing due to surgery...baby him. Clearly the Brewers see a lot in his potential if he can stay healthy and build that arm up again.

Erik Cordier was on a pitch restriction for his first 6 games of the season (coming back from a broken finger). He was lucky if they let him go 3 inning's. It really makes it hard for them to get into any kind of rhythm ,but I'm sure it's done for a reason.

The Brewers don't have the greatest luck with pitchers in the first round *cough*Jeffressisapothead*cough*

I agree, he'll be a remarkable come-back story if he can do it.
