Can't believe this honestly. not a fan of his but the guy does fight his ass off and has wins over many guys that are still with contracts. Really out of his UFC losses, the only one that i think he should have won was the Alexander fight. his other loses have been guys like Rampage, Bader, Wanderlei, and Hamill and he beat guys like Forrest, Liddell, and Vera during that time. His record is by no means good at all but if you look at the level of competition, i think he's had by FAR the toughest fight schedule that anyone in the UFC has had recently.

But your right. Hes faced some pretty tough comp.

His last four loses have all been to guys I would put in the top 15.

But when was the last time the UFC has kept a guy coming off 4 straight loses?

I mean really, they would have had some justification for cutting him even before the Hamill fight.

The good thing for Keith is that a) hes a recogizable name and b) hes still a damn good fighter so I would expect to see him in Strikeforce, Bellator or dream fairly soon!

His "unorthodox" fighting style = not good enough for the UFC. It's no secret that he's been kept this long just because he's Rashad's BFF. Your right JZ he does have a very recognizable name and will most likely end up in SF and should be a top 5-10 guy there.

Just got back from the Strikeforce wieigh-ins and that was part of the talk/rumor there. Another option I just read on yahoo is that he fights in Japan and comes back to UFC.

you cannot say he should have won the alexander fight. he was unprepared and unfocused in his approach. he had the skills to whoop strongarm he just failed to apply himself. all the monkey jumping and **** talking that fight was over before it started.

i can say he should have beaten Alexander. he's a much better fighter than Houston is. he came in overconfident, out of condition, and unfocused so he lost. had he came in like he came in with most of his other fights, he would have easily won.

I'm surprised too. He's been a "gatekeeper" type guy for a while now. UFC definitely has worse 205'ers.
