I guess I will not list my Blue ref auto Sunday night....

Glad I stopped at 1 nice card of him. Terrible news, not card wise, but for him. He seems like a good guy. Here's to a full recovery.

Hudson, Flowers, Shelby, Viciedo, Danks, Trayce Thompson are my boys now. I'll remember you next year though, Jared.

Nice write up, just a hint though....he was NOT the #8 overall pick in the draft.. Actually #23

Man I took him in my minor league draft this year. I really wanted him and heard grumblings about him getting taken later that round so I took him. ::facepalm:: I shouldve taken a catcher at his spot, but I did end up with Jason Castro 2 rounds later. I will just stash him away and hope for the best

His prices were a bit high anyway. This is not as terrible as people think. He was not gonna make any crazy jumps thru the minors. He is raw. Good time to buy if you believe in his bat.

Ouch!

I'm glad I only have an xfractor and a base auto.

Think of it this way...it's just a delay in the return potential for your investment...sit on it for a year and hope he comes back strong next year (see guys who have had TJ surgery)...

Yea, but it doesn't work the same. In the arm, pitchers come back stronger not so in the foot. The tendon that he tore is the tendon they use in to repair the arm 80% of the time. He will always be in some sort of discomfort. I bet Mitchell awoke today and can not bend his toes. Look for a career full of DL stints.

Ah! And also, THANKS to the Beckett Marketplace dealer that "backed out" of a sale of a Mitchell Blue Ref to me for $60 and now has it listed for $100....I bet he won't be getting that amount! lol

At least he is not a race horse.

Kid has alot going for him, young plus in very good shape and the best rehab money can buy. He will be fine.

I really hope he can bounce back. I really have hopes for this kid. He's got a GREAT personality and just seemed like he'd be a big asset to the clubhouse.
I may get to pick up something of his, now -- for an unfortunate reason.
