He got hit in the head last year off a line drive, he has not been that good since then.crosby87 said:

I'm glad we got some bullpen help. I've always liked Joe. I hope he does well in Pittsburgh.

I hope this helps the Giants, they need help in the pen but Bowker is tearing it up here in Fresno and could be useful later in the season if the Giants don't pick up another bat, he was the starter in RF to start the season.
