Why would I or any Cardinals fan care about the size of a team's fan base? Why would any team be jealous of that piss stench you call Wrigley Field? You Cubs fans use the same ridiculous arguments thread after thread after thread. Go back and re-read any thread you want where a spat between me and a Cubs fan takes place and you will find that it is a Cubs fan that starts talking the smack, not me. I just finish it because my arguments are based on fact, tradition, and winning.

And one last thing, you say that I don't know what I am talking about? And that I speak on things I don't know anything about? I will put my baseball knowledge and background against yours any day of the week and 10 times on Sunday.

Come on! really pissing away 22 million. They have pissed away about 80 million over the last 5 years for the players they either signed and then booted off the team. Sosa, Bradley, and Silva to name a few.

It will eventually happen. I don't think anyone is silly enough to think that it will NEVER ever happen. When it happens, it happens, big deal. The only thing that will change really is the Cubs fans will think they have actual reason to have bravado, but just like the Red Sox, winning doesn't automatically erase all of the years of awful play. It just means that their time has finally come, and they won.

If the Cardinals don't win the World Series, I don't really care who wins it.

I didn't say I never made any snide remarks, as you put it. What I said, and try to follow along, is that I didn't start this Cubs/Cards argument. I love it when you can't make a reasonable, thought out argument so you revert back to the "Ozzie Smith Sucks!" ::facepalm:: I'm actually surprised you didn't add the word dude in there somewhere. I've never actually lived near St. Louis so I'm not sure if they'd take me back but was it difficult to type that with tears in your eyes? What are you nine?

You really think that only 1% of baseball fans don't like Wrigley? God are you drinking the blue Kool Aid.

I tell you what, study baseball for the next year. Do nothing else during that time but study and you might know as much about the game as I knew yesterday.

Congratulations on the Cubs victory today. If you win tomorrow and complete the sweep you'll only be two games down in the season series and 13 games below .500. You guys are getting there!
