I don't know if I'd support giving them the death penalty until I see the full length of everything (if it's even all publicly laid out), but I would definitely eliminate them from Bowl contention and take away scholarships right now.

In my experience, few alumni bases exude as much smugness and self-satisfaction than that of Ohio State. After a run of semi-football prominence over the past decade, Buckeye fans and alums have been insufferable.

Now that it's all said and done, what they have to show for their compromised integrity is 1 questionable championship, 8 tainted BCS games, and an association with Maurice Clarett. Sadly, even with a rampantly corrupt program and coach, the still couldn't match up against the strong SEC teams.

Not a whole lot of new info came out of the SI article. It is pretty interesting that 9 more current players were named in the tattoos for memorabilia scandal, including 4 maybe 5 starters on defense.

Also, Terrelle Pryor has played his last college game. He showed up for a function last night in a brand new Nissan 350 with temporary tags from May 24th, effectively giving the university the middle finger. My guess is once Pryor's career in the NFL flames out, he'll talk to tey and get paid from this. And this is all far from over.

If I had to guess, just from everything that's come out so far, they will vacate last year's wins, have a 4 year bowl ban and lose 5 scholarships or so each year for the next few years. Also the uncertainty that goes along with having an interim head coach is going to kill their recruiting for the next few years. And it all couldn't have happened to a better group of guys.
