You know it, and your buddy gonblott knows it that I was "leading" collector's on this subject. That's why when I got banned from HK, your little buddy gonblott came on MY blogtv page and posted a comment saying that he was glad I got banned.... He was sweating while I was there spreading the thruths.

14. So funny how your buddy gonblott hasn't come on here. I shut him down on HK and now he's scared to come here, but that's ok I fully understand. He has two personalities by the way. He's himself and his father! I will include an interesting thread link below on how he didn't pay for some group break he joined. Then he came on with a story pretending to be his father, the collector, who doesn't exist. It's all him making up BS stories on why he couldn't pay up.

Why are you not willing to do what I ask of you you? In YOUR eyes I am guilty of something. Fine, I can't change that. Am I guilty by everyone else?

I don't know. Maybe I should make a poll and we can find out.

And I ask which prices are bogus? Give me facts. Prove it. I can't prove they are not. BUT I can hope that people who visit my site would believe I have more integrity than that. I live in the U.S. Innocent until proven guilty. Prove that I am PURPOSELY doing something wrong to deceive people. Show evidence. Until then, I don't understand why it is my duty to prove myself innocent.

That 90's Iverson insert thread was actually one of my favorite threads on HK. If you go back and look I posted there, too. That thread was actually one of the reasons I decided to blog about Jordan and 90's inserts: because I saw the excitement generated from old school inserts and I wanted to be a part of it in some way. I was bummed that it ended and got locked. Ther were tons of good information and cool images on there.

I fight for people, people I don't even know, get banned for them, no problem, but where are they know? Don't get me wrong I have no problem speaking out against something that I know is wrong...

I'm actually glad that thread got locked. It wasn't my fault it got locked, but i'm glad. I wouldn't want to continue letting those people feed off my thread with their fake sales. I think my thread actually helped them with all the BS they;ve been up to in the past couple of years or so. That thread had TONS of view and MANY MANY posts, scans, stories... So I think they used it as part of their hype and messed around with the prices... Just glad that's over with.

It's fine that I got banned, because it's not as if I did something wrong. They deceided to use abuse of power and ban me for actually doing the right thing. But oh well... I'm sure your buddy goblott was so exicted about that. He went out of his way to find my blogtv page just to post a comment telling me how happy he was that I got banned, so what does that tell you? I must have been a real pain in the @SS to him and others who were messing around with ebay auctions... It's not like it's only me that knows about this. We provided scans, ebay listing and all that to show he was selling the same cards over and over again. People saw what I posted, people also posted their own stuff, we all saw it. Sure now they're all disappeared by now... that's why you can kee going with the "prove this" and "prove that." You know along with most people that ebay auctions go poof after a little while, so that's how some of the evidence can go bye bye. He has slowed down A LOT since this thread... In a way it's good because they BS slows down and people stop falling in the whole, but on the other hand we can no longer see what it is that i'm talking about and have talked on on this thread and other forums!

So you can keep going all you want with that "prove it" and blah blah blah. All I can hope to do now is, what I have been doing, which is slow the **** down! Once we've taking care of one scammer we can tackle another....

And you can pretty much stop all your "let's have a poll to see who falls for my BS." Do you feel that attacked and do you have something to hide that you need to see how many people you can sucker into believing your stories???

If you know you have NOTHING to do with ANY of this, then stop posting! Let the people who are responsible for this to post here. I'm sure you'll do the right thing and post this thread EVERYWHERE like you post your CUSTOM CARDS!!! You're a cool guy like that, and i'm sure you'll do the right thing.

Before you ask me for the 10th time, I already told you why I wont post this thread on other forums at this time, because I don't know the rules for that specific situation, nor do I have the time or care to check right now... I refuse to get banned for anybody any longer. I will fight for what's right, but i'll try not to get banned in the process, otherwise I would I speak out against it?

Since you have all the time in the world!!!!!!!!! And naturally you're an english professor, since you love to correct me, you can post this thread on EVERY SINGLE FORUM!!! Just like you do with your custom cards, OR "look what this Jordan SOLD FOR!!!!"

If you can do that, i'm pretty sure you care so much about collectors that you will post this thread on every forum!

I don't claim to be a fighter for the well-being of every collector. YOU do.

I created Hupe Royalty for my outlet to this hobby I use to be a part of, as a collector. I use it to talk basketball. I use it to post my creations with Photoshop. I share information that I think other collectors find useful, but I don't look at myself as a "fighter for the people" If people who find Hupe Royalty resourceful, then great, if not, it isn't any sweat off my back. There are tons of blogs online that people can visit instead of mine.

I am proud of my work and appreciate feedback and compliments from those who see them. I want to reach as many people as possible, because as you know, not all collectors visit all forums, so I'd like my work to be seen by as many people as possible. Surely that isn't a crime or proof of any evil doing by me in the hobby.

what is your recommendation as far as how to verify each and every sale? i'm open to suggestions if you have something to recommend.

Because verification of every sale is virtually impossible, I suggested you put the sellers name with all the auctions you list on your blog. Im sure there are legit sales mixed in with some non sales due to various reasons. But atleast with the name of the sellers, we can atleast attribute the trending with these cards and their sellers.

I also speak on the behalf of myself and solely myself. Im not going to sit here and accuse you of being in cahootz with some of these people. I dont know that. But what I can tell you is my opinion. My opinion is that your site/blog is being used as a promotion tool by people in order to over estimate 90s inserts to a level much higher than the market.

Half information is what is killing the legitimacy of your auction blog. Include the names and lets start watching who gets higher prices, who is always selling the same cards and watch the circle of these few who always seem to sell of what we consider the extremely high end during certain times.

The rest I cant comment on. Wish we knew the ebay seller to those who post on the boards. But lets give it some time and see how sellers and auction ending prices trend.

I'm just here adding some pounds(too much popcorn reading this thread).

Joking aside, I do agree there's some blatant price fixing. Plus I think I mentioned this before, you can't rely on some BIN/BO ending prices when searching completed auctions. I have seen items listed as being sold for a larger quantity(usually the BIN price) than the actual best offer price. Even on items I have bought. I know for a fact items that are on "Sale" from Ebay Stores will show the original price under completed auctions.

This might have a purpose since not everyone on Ebay sells cards. Say I have an unlimited or high amount of the exact same product but have a BIN with best offer option. I don't think Ebay would make it to where people can just look up what's the lowest price I'm accepting for that particular item.

On the auction for $2600... You wouldnt question the bids on by the bidder (149)?. Who also happens to be the same guy that won a Kobe listed? Plus look at how he bids? Nothing like a winning bidder. He is not looking to win this card. He is looking to push this card to the limit for the winning bidder.

Why? Maybe because he is ready to flip the recent one he just bought? He got it for $2k. If he can push recent auctions to go over $3k, its an easy $1k profit in a week. In my opinion he wasnt looking at winning this one. He was looking to make someone pay and set new highs for the card. What other reason would he bid in increments of xx01.00 seconds apart but fall short of winning the card. I mean it wouldnt take much more to win it!!

Ironically he didnt bid on the japanese auction 1/50. Hmm 1/50 probably would carry a better premium too. Yet he didnt even bid on it and it ended $300 less.

i applaud your in depth analysis for that particular card. now ask yourself, is it reasonable to expect me to do that for every single auction I track? that's a lot of work. unpaid work, at that. for what? for the betterment of everyone else? for props to me? no thank you i dont need props.

but if post sales data along with the requisite info (seller, price, auction #, date, etc) on hupe royalty, it allows collectors to do their own homework and investigate. THATS what hupe royalty is about: a resource for collectors to use. if anyone looks at the data and takes it LITERALLY (without regard to possible flaws) personally, I don't think that's my fault. if other people reference my site and it helps with their sales, well good for them and dumb for the buyer who doesn't do more homework. again, is that my fault? i dont believe so.

now, coming back to the kobe auctions specifiically.
i dont know the buying habits, income, or intent of any bidders, but we can assume we do. a guy buys one kobe ruby. then, you believe, he tries to bump up the others to protect his purchase. plausible? very. but is it also not plausible that the guy has a lot of money and wants to own more than one copy of the card? again, plausible. we can assume, but intent is hard to prove.
also, the winning bidder e***a( 3796) apparently really wanted that card, whether at $2399 or at $2601 (and possibly that wasnt even his highest max bid). truly if the guy put in his his high bid at $4000 we will never know. but we do know that he was willing, more so than anyone else, to win that card at a very high price. does that not make the sale of that card completely false? i wouldnt say so.

lets play what if? what if the e***h( 149) guy won the card? well, either he pays or he doesn't. if he pays we now have two confirmed sales on the kobe card. if he doesn't the card gets re-listed and everyone sees that the first sale was illegitimate.
