10 PA. 10 times on base.

3 HR
3B
2B
2 singles
3 BB

For the season: .371/.506/.774 (1.280 OPS)

So for the skeptics, he's now a One Year and Two Month (From Two Different Seasons) Wonder

Why not? I'm pleasantly surprised with Bautista's performance thus far this year. I didn't think he'd fall off the map after last year, but I ( and I'm guessing many others) certainly didn't expect him to be doing this well still.

I expected him to have a sub-par season. I have to say I'm certainly impressed up to this point.

I was being sarcastic.

As well as an 06 BC auto, and a Platinum Auto/Patch /50. I'm sure a lot of you will say I'm buying into the hype but I believe this guy is the real deal after what he has accomplished.

Dave Cameron has an excellent article on Fangraphs today examining whether you can argue Bautista's the best hitter in the AL.

It would be nice if some of it could rub off on Snider and Rivera.

Wait, Bautista was in 2002 sets? How old is that guy? I just figured there's a new 'Jose Bautista' coming up every couple years and the 2006 BC was his RC. Man, I've got a ton of 2002 Bowman Chrome laying around. I've probably got $15 unclaimed under my bed.

that's all.

I know you're stupid and all but if you're insinuating that a player cannot go from scuffling around, bouncing between teams or levels, changing his approach and then dominating the league without the use of banned substances, I assume you would accuse the same of your beloved Cliff Lee?

Steroids don't suddenly make you a great hitter. Steroids help you build muscle fast. If you watch Jose Bautista play you will notice that he isn't a huge guy like Bonds or McGwire. He hits the ball hard and hits line drives out of the park. That is something that steroids cannot do. ::facepalm::
