Steroids don't suddenly make you a great hitter. Steroids help you build muscle fast. If you watch Jose Bautista play you will notice that he isn't a huge guy like Bonds or McGwire. He hits the ball hard and hits line drives out of the park. That is something that steroids cannot do. ::facepalm::

Why do people assume that steroids makr you huge? There are different types of steroids. Most guys who take them for sports dont blow up.They add dense, lean muscle mass. Just bc guys dont blow up like Bonds, McGwire and Giambi doesnt mean they arent on something.

They certainly make a good hitter a better hitter though. Assuming that someone has the talent to be in the majorleagues than that person is a good hitter.

Agreed, but steroid can't give someone bat speed and a good eye like he has. That is something that is acquired by hard work, not steroids.

Bat speed can be improved with steroids, and you have to work hard on steroids. You dont gain anything with steroids if you dont put in the work.
