Meh - in his defense, unless you really take the time to scrutinize the title vs. body of the message, it kinda makes you wonder why you discuss Reggie Jackson vs. Sandy Koufax but whatever... nice card(s) regardless!

I think he reads plenty, which is why he was confused. Your format sucks, and is very confusing. The standard would say that the type underneath a photo addresses the photo, ie. a caption. You failed to specify that the Koufax was yours, leading most to assume that the body was referring to the photo.

Regardless, both are nice cards.

Oh, I read plenty...and from this post I read that you had just driven your 19 year old cousin down to the local Target to buy some hairspray (he was all out). He could have driven himself, but he had a Mike's Hard Lemonade about an hour before.
"Please," he had said. "I can drive. I'm fine!"
"No," you replied. I will drive you. It's fine. Plus I want to pick up some baseball cards, anyways."
You both hopped into your 2006 Hyundai and cruised the 15 minutes to Target. While there, you head over to the card section near the front. He heads to the left to pick out the hairspray.
"Hmmmm...should I get a blaster box, or one of these 4 packs?" you ask yourself.
"Hmmm...should I get Pantene, or Aussie?" he asks himself.
You decide on the blaster, him the Pantene. As you go to checkout, you notice that you had forgotten your wallet. "Oh No!" you shreik.
"I got it..." he smiles. "But I get to open some packs!"
You happily agree, allow him to pay, and head out to the car. "Wait a minute..." he stops when you reach the car. "If you don't have your wallet, then you shouldn't be driving!"
Your shoulders slump as you breath out a heavy sigh. "You got me, cous...," you smirk as you toss him the keys. Your cousin drives home as you finger the box of 2011 Topps baseball cards. Twisting it over in your hands, you dream of what could lay just inside. Your hands are just millimeters away from a golden canary diamond Steven Strasberg, you think. You cousin looks at you out of the corner of his eye. "Why do you like cards so much?" he asks.
"What? Oh, well, I don't know. They're fun, and sometimes they're worth money."
"Really," his eyebrows lower. "You're joking."
"No really!" you protest. You catch yourself and begin to feel a tiny bit ashamed. You know he won't understand. He's popular. He has a lot of friends. He's handsome. But what about you? Are cards your only friend? Are you lost in a hobby that only lonely people will understand? You remember that you don't even tell your closest friends the fact that you collect cards...
"They're just cool, that's all...." your eyes turn to the window and gaze out on the passing trees. Your cousin recognizes the silence with embarrassment.
"Hey," he puts his hand on your leg. "It's fine. I won't tell anyone. Plus, you said I can open some, remember?"
The touch of his hand makes you shiver gently, but you remain silent with your thoughts the rest of the way home. Still clutching the box of cards, you pull into the driveway.
"One pack, that's all you get to open! And you don't get to keep them. They're mine," you remind him.
You both head inside, and you plop down onto the couch. You rip off the clear cellophane, and crack open the top. You cousin comes inside and sits down next to you. You hand him one pack. "Remember, they're my cards. Open it carefully. If you see anything shiny give it to me right away," your eyes catch his, and you make sure he is listening. "Got it?
"Got it," he replies.
You both start opening wrappers. You can't help but not look at him while you open another. He looks so cute. "Do you see anything that looks different?"
"No," he whispers. "Oh wait!" he is louder now. "Here's one that looks old!" his excitement is barely contained.
"Ha, not really, that one has a code for the computer. It might be good, but probably not..." You go back to your packs while he looks at your Topps Diamond Giveaway redemption card.
"I want to do it!" he jumps up and gets his laptop. He returns and jumps back onto the couch next to you.
"Careful!" you scold. "You might bend them!"
Your cousin taps away at his computer while you remain transfixed on your remaining pack of cards. "Uh-oh, you need a password..."
You tell him your username and password for the Topps Diamond Giveaway, as you open your last pack. "Dang, nothing good," you mutter. "It was probably searched... Here let me tell you the code and you type it in. You snatch the redemption card from his hands and read off the numbers and letters.
"Okay, it's loading..." once again, his excitement is growing in his voice. For a tiny instant, you think to yourself that your cousin is not so bad. This could be fun if he could get interested in cards, too. Maybe you guys could do this more often. As he stares at the laptop, waiting for the prize to load, you stare at your beautiful cousin. A tingle in the back of your neck as you think of his soft skin, pouty lips so smooth, you love the way his head playfully tilts just to the side... What would he do? you think to yourself. Excitement build inside your whole body. What would he do if I just leaned in and...
"Here it is! Reggie Johnson! Or Jackson! Reggie Jackson! Is that good?"
You eyes snap to the computer as the blood courses back through your body. "What?" On the screen in a picture of Sandy Koufax Diamond Die-Cut. But the description says Reggie Jackson. "That's wierd!" you read it over and over. You grab the laptop from your cousin and read it again. "Really wierd! This might just be my Best Topps Diamond Card! I need to let my FCB buddies know right away!"
Still holding the laptop, you rush away from your cousin and into your bedroom and close the door. You lock it. Back into your world. Back into your safety. Far away from the mixed emotions that you could never tell anyone about.
Back to where you should be...
Maybe I read too much into this?
I just don't know. Great card whether it's Reggie or Sandy! Congrats!

Congrats![/quote:3e6nmv6w]

I believe that whenever someone came up with the term "owned" that this was something they aspired to have the term attached to.
I bestow upon you a +7 good sir, the highest honor a post can ever receive.

I agree, confusing. I too thought it was the wrong pic. Nice card though.

My cousin was entering codes beside me on his laptop. First one he entered and BAM Reggie Jackson!

Whoa!!! Not only that, but it is the ultra rare Reggie Jackson with the Sandy Koufax front!!! Nice!!!!

WTF are you talking about? The title says MY best card (which was the Koufax). The body said MY COUSIN got the Reggie Jackson. Read much?
