I finally took it out of the toploader today to put in a magnetic case and noticed the bottom right corner. When I saw it initially, I thought it was the sleeve creating the look when I scanned. Turns out that the card doesn't seem to have gotten all of the red chromium on it when it was created. The seller never mentioned this in his auction and the picture another card in the scan with it, making this not visible. I wasn't even worried about grading it, but I wonder if it will cause me an issue when trying to resell it in the future.

Should I have a beef with the seller and ask for a refund? Or am I making nothing into something?

Discoloration is on the bottom right corner.

Definitely bring it up, even if ifs a manufacturer's issue this significantly affects the value especially being a red ref... he may even provide a partial refund.

I actually noticed that when you posted it in your pick up thead. I didn't say anything because I thought you knew it was there. I think it should have been called out by the seller as it is very noticable. I personally think you have beef with the seller.

I would contact Topps too. See who is easier to work with. I think we all know that Topps tends to have a few extra Red refractors laying around

Don't do both though, that's a cheap move.

Yeah. I saw it in the auction and the initial post.
Noticed right away it looked chewed up.

The 5/5 I had didn't have it.
Contacting Topps won't hurt though.
Good luck bud.

I may contact Topps to see if anything can be done. I may go ahead and say something to the seller too and let him know I will talk to Topps. I really don't want much time to pass with the seller and have him say I've waited too late to return it.
