I don't care how cool you are, white guys look like effin' idiots as the vocal leaders of their team.

Keith Brooking literally sounds like the nerdy kid trying to hype up the chess team.

Ray Lewis? Mike Strahan? Yah, those guys sound awesome and I'd get excited when they spoke.

I've noticed this is a common theme though, african american cable television preachers also compare very favourably to their white counterparts.

Yah, that man sells right out. He also screams in a tenor -type voice, which seems to be the key.

If all Ray Lewis did was speak then it wouldn't be so bad but when he prances around like a idiot when the team takes the field he just looks retarded. I like him and he is one of the best ever but I just get irritated when they show him acting like one of those retards that you see playing streetball that just scored.

That's like saying Tom Brady's a vocal leader. Both are just terrific players that understand the game too well to be leaders.

What?

I'm glad Prime Time was able to get that interview with Ray before the game with Indy. According to Ray there was no urgency to do the interview before the Indy game as the Ravens would be preparing for an AFC Championship game. Ray has plenty of time to do interviews and work on his dance moves now.

he was eliminated after that massively contrived, and super lame, speech last year.
Yea, all that speech led to was a NC.

I still think Texas got screwed pretty badly on that, but regardless, Tim Tebow sounded like an idiot.

Tebow, Manning, Brady < Jim Brown

Personally I loved Tebow's speech. He was willing to speak from his heart and wear his emotion on his sleeve. It obviously helped as they won the National Championship. I could care less what color you are.

Seriously? ::facepalm:: Some of the greatest team leaders in NFL history were the one's whom spoke through thier play/production on the field, not those "bee-bopping" or "bustin' a rhyme" during "sausage-circle time" right before the start of a game! ;)
