what is the best way to keep a inventory for insurance reasons? is their a spread sheet, or a program that could be used? my insurance guy wants a detailed inventory, he wants more then just scans.

any help.

Scans, Video of the stuff and even a paper trail can help, but may not be worth it unless your talking about high dollar and rare stuff here.
Oh and ask the Agent how you should go about doing this. Since he works for you, he should have told you how to make sure you could get this covered, and not have to worry it was not done right for the insurance company. Otherwise fire that agent and find one that actually cares and does his/her job

Just my 2 cents

Paypal history. Should have every item from ebay with # as well as anything in the title.
Scan anything with a serial # Numbering on a card or BGS case is no different than your TV.
