This was a thought I had in the back of my mind, but wasn't sure if it was correct or not.

They really should've been using card #311 and not card #7 for Mantle.

I get why they choose to honor Mickey Mantle, but skipping number 7 is pointless. Having Mantle be number 7 was tolerable, but still stupid. If they need to make number 7 special, which they don't, I would rather have the most prominent rookie be card number 7.
