The Indians acquired first baseman/left fielder Lars Anderson from the Red Sox for Double-A starter Steven Wright, tweets WEEI's Alex Speier.

Yeah, I think that is cool we got a knuckler out of the deal. Seems like he is not too far away from the majors either. Hopefully Lars can get some full playing time so he can prove what he is really capable of. I wish the best of luck to him.

On the other hand, now Lars blocks 'the god' LaPorta! Oh noes!

That's funny. After sitting here all season pondering on why there is no such thing as a consistant knuckler, I was happy to see the Tribe rid themselves of one.

Yeah, he was the guy to pull when 2008 Chrome released. I paid for a case with an orange auto.
