Wow, you've got to be kidding.

I don't pull a single Machado in a case, yet there is a plate auto and /5 auto in 1 box. Who is responsible for boxing out this stuff? What a horrendous job.

It's a case break, case breaks are gambles. It happens. I broke 4 cases, watched Jim Witmer break 7, felt like the boxes in those 11 were collated very nicely.
Obviously it's a gamble. Go read my thread. I said you win some, you lose some. I obviously lost, pretty bad. Oh well. Just like last year with Bowman Chrome-I learned my lesson the first time. Just like with Leaf-I won't be fooled again.

My problem is coming on here and see issues like mahoodys box getting the 2 Machado's-a plate auto and a /5. I know most of you all won't say a bad thing about BG, but that is a joke right there.

What where the other parallels you pulled? You didnt even list them all in the box break section...

I am sorry you were unhappy, hail...

IF you wait and sell guys as they get hot (not just ,.99 and let rip all), I am confident you will see the long term returns on this product as the buy-in is fantastic and the cards look great.

The real question is patience... I broke 55 cases 1992 bowman and got over $1100 per set over time... NICE return.. BG

Auctions should be listed in this thread and discussions of poor collation should be held in a different thread.

There is no way I list these at auction for .99, I think that is beyond stupid given how many autos are on eBay.

I expected to hold many of these, but honestly I would be totally lucky to get $900 back on my case is everything goes right by me holding autos. And that is if a lot of things go right.

Just to be fair, holding this product has absolutely nothing to do with holding 1992 Bowman. Shouldn't ever be in the same sentence, really, IMO.

boo hoo

you got killed on a case and lost $240

not to be all logical and whatnot here... but "prospecting" isnt about the immediate return. sure you will have players that have a higher value upon release but mostly its about 1-5 years from now and selling when the players hype matches or excedes their talent level. timing and timing alone will dictate the profitability of any case from any product. bitching about a break right now is like complaining about the breakfast your going to have on July 23, 2013... you have no clue what it will taste like.

Yes, you are right. It takes patience.

I spoke with my emotions, after what was a lackluster break. If I had anything to be mad about, I should have been mad at myself for buying the case, rather than just buying singles. Instead, I decided to be upset at Leaf, and issues like the Machado box. That was wrong of me, it was out of character-it was completely uncalled for on my part. I had no idea that I was whining like a little kid. I've only been in the card deal for under 2 years, as I spent a lot of time out of the hobby. I have tried other prospect products, and wasn't impressed(Elite, Bowman, etc). I decided to gamble on Leaf-and again, if I want to be mad about anything I should be mad at myself. Plain and simple.

So please, to all I offended, accept my apology. I am truly sorry for acting like I had some sort of entitlement to do well with my break. Again, my bad.

Hail,

as long as you shrink your sig image a bit...

WERE COOL!
Well, the more I see it the more I think about losing to the Rangers. Beating the Yanks was good, but the playoffs did not end well for the Tigres. I am just gonna remove it.

Just pulled this beauty. Cards look awesome in person.

Edit: Looking closer, the "ding" I thought I saw was actually just the etching near the edge lol.
