that a draft manufacturer had autographs of one of the most elusive and exciting signatures of any living baseball star.

BUT, on-card would NOT be possible. Would you be upset if he was in the product with sticker signatures? Other ideas?

Honestly, I'd rather see "cut" autos than stickers. It's a little more work, but a nice presentation.

If the design of the card incorporates the sticker nicely I wouldn't care one bit.

It's about time Rusty Kuntz started to get autographs in sets.

what if we made up for stickers by adding jumbo oversized swatches/patches to many of the autos?

It would help, but what if you sent oversized game used swatches to be autographed with a high quality fabric pen instead?

Stickers suck, period. The only thing you'll succeed in doing by adding oversized swatches is fuel the, "why in the hell would they make such a sweet card and ruin it with a sticker" talk.

I know he was joking above (Rusty Kuntz) but I really think you'd find a following if you had lesser name players. How about an entire team, the 86 Mets, 82 Cards, 88 Dodgers, etc... Sure you'll have the Ozzie Smith's, but who has a Dane Iorg or Lonnie Smith.

Forget the stickers.

Agreed. I go out of my way to avoid GU on auto cards.

Doesnt help in my opinion.
Best way make it a cut auto syle.
I like the team idea. A set that offers the best teams of the the past decades. Not the whole team but the starting nine. This could be really cool with some neat insert sets.

There's no reason to disagree with this at all. The same can be said of on-card autos as well.

Would all of the other cards be on-card? Would the stickers be SP?

I could handle stickers knowing the company tried for 100% on-card and had to do stickers to include a BIG name.

Better question how long would it take to get them on card?
