Agreed, VERY nice stuff! I was looking through and was disappointed how few G/U football cards Hasselbeck has, and the ones he does have are pathetic looking... Oh well! Thanks for sharing what you guys got!!

There is no more lame swatch than event used balls. If they are NEVER used again it would be too soon.

The event used jersey swatches are horrid enough, but balls that they tossed around a few seconds? Bleh.

I agree about the "event ball" concept but love the idea of a GU football piece, especially if the game date is incorporated on the card. When I heard that Topps was doing a GU football set from Super Bowl 41 I was all about it. Initially the print run was to be 99 cards per player in the set. Topps had such a difficult time getting the footballs they cut the production to 10 per player. Fortunately I was able to land the Manning from the set.

i hate the event used footballs only thing worse was i pulled a game used field goal post card of chad pennington in one of those rack packs that gurantees a GU card. the card is no longer in my possession but it was from a 2000-2004 product.
