Yea it sold for $26,000, cant imagine pulling anything that would ever get that amount again

Um are you sure? LOL!

Seriously that just takes the cake... Again, if that was me, $26k cash hitting my bank account and Obama not knowing (assuming but has to be true) I'd be done collecting lol. Can't top it.

Most I've ever paid for a card:

Card in my collection that would probably sell for the most:

I've never really had that huge mega-pull (but then again, I open about 3-4 boxes a year). I also don't have the budget to buy much high end.

I did pull a Brett Lawrie Blue Ref auto from a value box. Sold that for ~$450 once I got it back from Topps. I was 1 off from having it jersey #'d 13/150.

I have the Sonny Gray non auto Super, but that isn't a mega card (YET...). Probably the most $$ wise is a 1920 Eddie Collins non-numbered red backgroud w519 hand cut. I think those go for a few hundred. Or maybe the beat up t206 Cy Young bare hand that I got at a card show back in 2000 (the dealer wanted by Wade Boggs jersey card. Easy decision for me).

My BIGGEST pull back in 2001... And still have it in my bank account.

This is very cool... do you mean you have it in the PC sitting in a deposit box or you sold it and the cash is in your bank account? Also, it shocks me there were 24 of these! LOL.... like damn, I want one.

Never sold it - it never came to my mind. It's in my PC - I should have said that specifically... I think I have seen 3 ever existed - two of them were sold for $7k (that was like 10 years ago)...

^^ LOL there were 73 of these?! Just crazy...

As to the Wagner, if you could get $7k for it, I'd sell it if it were me but love the card and can see why you want it to stay in the PC.

Sold this one for $1,400 off eBay. My next highest sale is also Darvish...a Museum Collection auto/25 that I sold for about $825.

I don't buy much high-end cards, but I've been lucky enough to pull some big cards ranging in the $100-$300 range such as Mike Trout Elite /100 Auto, Bryce Harper Futures Game GU/Auto, and Dylan Bundy Blue Refractor Auto that I haven't sold because I like them too much.

However, I sold this earlier this year for $450 which is a price I couldn't say no to.

There were 113 Walter Johnsons that year. Pretty amazing quantity of great autos.

^^Thought they still had it? I think the real idea is it looks like they started to really drain the market of cut autos? I mean over 100 Walter Johnsons? About a 100 Roger Marris? Nearly 50 Wagners? It seems like a blockbuster set but I mean how many really really nice cuts can there be of some of the big name old timers?

sorry by "killed" I meant killed it by putting garbage autos in the set and using those horrible yellow HOF plaque autos, etc.

In 2007 I just started getting back into collecting again since I was a kid collecting in the 80's and Early 90's. I was going through all my old cards and decided to go to the LCS and see what has changed in the hobby. Went a few more times and bought packs of cards and pulled a redemption for this out of 2007 SP Authentic. After pulling it not really sure what it was, I redeemed it and this came in the mail. 2007 SP Authentic Derek Jeter Full Name #1/2. Ended up selling it for $2,650. Ended up being huge because I was getting married in a few months and needed the cash. LOL. This is the pull that got me back in the hobby. I probably sold it too cheap but not knowing anything about the hobby at the time I was happy getting 530 per card.

My second biggest pull was the 2010 Bowman Chrome Manny Machado USA Superfractor. Pulled it out of the last 4 Jumbo Packs at my LCS.
Sold it to Wossa for $1,225.00

And my 3rd biggest pull was out of one pack of 2011 Bowman Sterling at a local show. 2011 Bowman Sterling Jason Heyward Red Refractor 1/1. I dont remember the final amount but it was around $1,100.00
