Anyone notice the "variation" on Red Schoendienst's cards? He signed his first name in the little bubble where the numbering was supposed to go:

Topps was nice enough not to stamp his name. It's also interesting they did the number after signing. It's the little things that amuse me.

I would like to see a thread of things like this though. The 1997 Significant Signatures set had a couple people sign on the back. I guess they don't get clear instruction on where to sign and it's not obvious what the design is.

They are actually covered with clear tape and taped to the top of the 200-count plastic box that holds the autos that are sent to players.

The Moore is the only one I own right now. Used to have this one and would love to get it back one day. The only other 2 I have ever seen are from 2001 (Phil Rizzuto and Cliff Floyd.)

Would love to see that out of that beat up case. Been seriously thinking about owning one of these.

Damn this thread. After looking through this, I was this close to making a decent offer on the Starlin Castro that's on eBay last night after a few beers or six.

My Cubs rainbow sans the Sandberg. I haven't seen a Sandberg yet. Total price = $706.35 delivered.
seems like you got them all for a decent price. Looks purdy
Banks - $214.36
Cashner - $69.99
Castro - $185.00
Garza - $48.50
Jenkins - $150.00
Ramirez - $38.50

I know Sandberg was on the checklist, but not sure if they got made. I'll be around a grand total if Sandberg's start popping.
