Ok guys spring training is sneaking up. Wanted to see how you guys send out your cards to get mcgwire to sign? Do you do a pwe with another inside? Bigger envelope? Do you put the card in penny sleve and top loader? I sent last year and never got a reply so I'm wondering if I protected it too much or made it a pain for him? Do you hand write the letters or type and keep them short or long?

Don seems to get 2,456 autos every spring training from mac. We should just pay him to run for us

Then I received this gift in the mail from be8belove today. Didn't even exist on our list and I had never seen it before. It's part of an SP set then is an SP of the SP set:

Nice stuff, Joe. I have that card, I never noticed it wasn't on our list. I did have it set aside, so at the time I bought it I must have known it was a tough find, even though I don't recall anything about it. Any info on it? Was it pack inserted or only available at the game?

1999 Upper Deck MVP FanFest

This 30 card standard-size set was issued by Upper Deck during the annual FanFest celebration. The cards were issued in three-card packs with 15,000 packs produced and distributed during the show. The cards have a silver All-Star Game logo on the lower right corner of the card and they are all numbered with an "AS" prefix. Ten of the cards were printed in smaller quantities then the other 20 cards, those cards are notated with an SP in the listings below

15,000 packs of 3 or 45,000 cards printed of the entire set of 30 cards. Sounds like an aweful lot of cards of a set you rarely see.

i got 5 items signed yesterday at
the team signing here in jupiter.

i still got to get pics up of the others
. These were the 2 big pieces i wanted done

he has basically stopped doing the
full sig . he does on some stuff but majority
is the shorter version.

i had it signed in july but i took the small
auto off. so i had to get it redone.

my guess is if you have not
sent it in by now , your success rate has
dropped assuming he has alot of mail waiting.
