Considering the truly great Mets pitchers never threw a no-hitter while on the squad, perhaps it is for the best it didn't happen.

Crappy move to not let him finish a CG.

Don't here the Mets fans moaning and complaining the last 3 games like they were when he was drafted.

He threw 107 pitches nothing wrong with taking him out at that point....Don't want him ending up with a sore arm like Bundy


Crappy move to not let him finish a CG.

So you compare a kid out of high school with little experience to a MUCH more experienced College pitcher and work horse?
I'm sure he would of liked to have finished that 9th inning.

Not comparing experience, rather reward(1extra inning) vs risk (potential arm injury). Yes I'm sure he wanted to finish....
