Do the cards need to be packaged to BGS specs when sent to Alabama or are the cards going to be repackaged prior to submission to BGS?

Thanks for offering this!

they need to be BGS ready when shipped to me
I have never done a direct submission
Can you please review how they should be packaged for the submission?

I am collating my order as we speak

haha, nice. I'm gonna go through my cards after the Sox game and see what I want to submit. Gonna be all Canes this time i think.

I think my Carlos Gutierrez Contenders is gradeable

Re: May 2009 FCB group BGS Submission discussion

Two questions that I don't see addressed in to TOS:

1. Is minimum grade possible?
2. Is authentication possible?

Thanks

haha, i still haven't picked up the Raben or Gutierrez out of the set. $ just has been spent elsewhere. I did a quick lookthrough my Canes collection last night and have 12 Canes and 4 others to submit. 2 gold metal, 8 blue metal, 1 contenders auto, 5 die-cut EEE Canes.

Yes

Yes

But it is still $5.50 even if it doesn't meet the minimum grade correct?

Re: May 2009 FCB group BGS Submission discussion

This is great. I've always wanted to send into BGS but normally only have a select few to send.

Quick question: Can Canadian members participate? This may be covered in other threads and I apologize if I missed it.

Great addition.

Probably will participate, but going to wait till the next one because money is an issue at the moment. One quick question..

When you post your submission in the appropriate thread, it should be in this format.
2007 BC249 Bowman Chrome Refractor Dellin Betances #156/500 6662602

What does the "6662602" stand for?

Chris, for cards that don't have a serial number or authentication number, are you going by first received or first posted in the submission thread? If its first received i'll get all my razor metal parallels out tomorrow, lol.

Re: May 2009 FCB group BGS Submission discussion

(#1) I assume we can send non-sport cards?

(#2) Is there a minimum - can I send just 1 card?

(#3) If I send a base card with an auto (TTM) from my PC - what does the BGS slab say?
Just regular grade?
