Maybe Razor Metal autos aren't that hard to grade after all?

Call me picky, but if I can clearly see some rough edges from the scan...is that a 9.5 for edges?

Regardless, BGS seems to be accepting some things on these cards that would be considered a "flaw" on most others.

Yup, certainly looks like they're treating these a little differently than other cards.

It's good to know that integrity is flexible (and perhaps negotiable) from the self-proclaimed leader in grading services.

Did yours have any printing dimples? Thats all I noticed wrong with mine and figured since Logan Morrison Blue Refs had that problem and none pretty much got over a 8.5, some 9s on surface, that it wouldn't be worth to grade

This copy was surprisingly clean. The others I've seen have the print dots you're talking about.

I received my five Carlos Santana metals today. One has a printing dimple on it. Another has what appear to be scratch marks in the auto box. The other three are fine. These cards do look better in person. I don't know if I'd grade them though.

To be fair, all grading companies (including PSA) grade cards based on the issue's particulars. For example, OPC rough cuts are ignored, since they are found in most (if not all) cards issued by them.

I should get by 4 base metals back today so I'll let you guys know how the subgrades worked out. I got 2 9's and 2 9.5's but haven't seen the subs yet. My blue and gold non auto's will be off to BGS soon as well

Still much much harder to find than their loose gem counterparts.

Maybe we should all start grading exclusively with PSA so you won't be able to tell the difference.

I think they're all hurting. We're going to continue to see these special grading deals that are only available "for a limited time" but it's just another tactic to lower prices across the board without actually "lowering" prices.
