His stuff has been dropping since his callup, but now he's starting to turn it around..
Now batting .255 and on pace for 33-35 HR's (if he plays a full 162 game season).

I have nothing of him, but I'm thinking of picking stuff up now that his prices are low..

I've considered it as well because I've enjoyed watching him play, although it's tough to swallow passing them up for $30 a year ago and buying at $75 or whatever they're still getting.

HR he hit tonight was a missile!

Dude his Bowman Chrome Auto is actually as low as $62(!) on Ebay. That's a 50% haircut/correction in prices ..

Sadly, the Stanton ship has sailed

The said the same thing about Posey when he had his slump earlier this season and his BC dropped from $80 to $40..now it's $80-$100 again and could soar higher..

Buy low sell high.

I'm gonna say, heck no on that one.

I agree anytime a player has as much power as Stanton there will be many time to buy and sell during his career.

I also agree, but it could be a rocky road if he turns out to be a .250 (plus or minus 20 points) hitter who Ks at a high rate.

BTW, my man Logan Morrison went 3-4 with a BB tonight too. He's really starting to come alive...I look forward to watching Morrison and Stanton move forward as one of the more promising 3-4 hitter tandems in the game.

You're talking about Adam Dunn. He's done well for himself. If he hits 40 HR a year, nobody will care if he hits .250

But how do his cards sell? That's what I meant by 'rocky road'....for people trying to buy and sell his cards moving forward.

maybe at $120, but not at $60, don't forget how young he is, he's not a 23 or 24 year old rookie, i think he just turned 21

Stanton's ship is nowhere near sailing. Matter of fact the kid is starting to Rock! Last 4 games: 11 hits in last 17 ab's with 4 HR's (2 tonight) and 8 rbi's. And he's moved his average from .236 to .270.

We'll see if this continues.

He is now 16-36 (0.444) with 5 HR in August. Nice!
