After Michael Taylor's 5-for-6 night lastnight, I guess they didn't want to give him anything to hit today- he went:

1-for-2, 2Runs, 3BB, K & is hitting .344 on the season! :D

Chacin is done:

7 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 2 SO, 1 BB

Just another day in the office. He didn't have his best stuff tonight but still got the job done.

K% down almost 8% this year, BB% up almost 3%. Will be in he running for #1 overall prospect.

Top 5 Prospects next year not in order:

Bumgarner
Stanton
Heyward
Strasburg
Montero[/quote:2y3uo05s]
if bumgarner keeps it up and has a minor league career era of around 1.30-1.60 ya i think he gets #1 overall

Cody Johnson homers (17) on a fly ball to right field. Donell Linares scores.

His plate discipline has improved dramatically. I think we are seeing the 2 best hitters in all of baseball in the FSL in Stanton and Montero.

Edit: It says he has 2 HR tonight (13)

It's a screwup. He went 2-5 with a HR, 3 RBI, and 3 K.

For some reason, his MILB profile doubled everything and says he went 4-10 with 2 HR, 6 RBI, and 6 K. Just an error.

I think the stats messed up, because if you look on his page it says he's 4-10 today.

Anyway, they might be the two best. I think Heyward, Vitters, and Smoak are in that race as well, maybe Freddie Freeman as well. I still expect Hosmer and
Alvarez to eventually catch up to that group. Yonder Alonso is starting to show his ability as well, and Brett Wallace is already up and hitting in AAA. Not sure what to think about Lars Anderson right now. Then ofcourse, there's the currently inactive Logan Morrison.

Anywho, Troy Patton improved to 6-1 with a cool. 1.75 ERA.
