as JP mentioned, Lavarnway is 1-1 with a 2R homer..not a guy I'm invested in, but his stats at AAA just can't be overlooked. Batting .335 with Pawtucket.

Not sure what's gotten into him but his discipline has been much improved lately...meaning the walks are way up his last few games (7 the last three games) and the Ks are way down (1 in three games), but the power is still there. His average is all the way up over .270 now. Other than the high K rate, he has put up very good numbers this year, so improvement in that area would really make me feel like he may be an impact player again afterall.
