That's the problem here. If you can't make money off the player then it's not worth talking about. Not really a collectors site anymore. Just a flippers

Or none of the other normal posters to the MLB thread could or wanted to last night. Most of the other normal posters to this thread are not prospectors or, like myself, follow both. I couldn't post after I put up the schedule or I would have. There was plenty of good action yesterday.

You made two posts about Rizzo. Is that pimping? Scotty posts about Middlebrooks. Is that pimping? To me is sounds like happy fans.

I am a fan and that's why I post. I follow both MLB and MILB but could care less about flipping. I was just pointing out that nobody posts anything anymore on here unless it benefits them(I have 0 Rizzo cards) I am just a Cubs fan

I don't think someone posting about a 2 HR day of an 11 year vet is trying to pimp the value of the card. But I guess we just see posts a little different. If you want to see pimp fest, check out the MiLB thread (which I do often so not a knock J.P.)

I simply made 2 posts about Rizzo and the Cubs game last night and was surprised to see the lack of posts this morning when I awoke, also just pointing out that you can hear crickets on this board lately. It's kind of boring when there is no interaction.

Scotty posted about Cody Ross 2 HR game the other day was because he has a stash of 2001 Bowman Chrome Cody Ross. Arguments on here get tiring, so does blaming prospecting for the ills of the world.

I wish there was more traffic to the site/thread. That is why I make it (almost) everyday. So there is a place you can talk about MLB action and go back and forth.

Scotty, sorry for using you as an example again but as a fan of a division rival I watch a little more closely than a Padres fan post. It's not a man crush, I promise.

Haha no worries! I usually seem to be one of the only posters on this thread so it's easy to use me as an example. I wish this thread was more active, but with a prospector heavy board I am not too surprised.

I usually am on FCB while watching the Sox so it's convenient to display my excitement when something good happens during the game. I wasn't on here last night for long so I missed out to say that Salty is leading MLB C in HRs by TWO!

That's all I was getting at is the lack of being able to talk about games that are going on involving players that people aren't going to make a fortune off of. I know there is a very few posters on here that just like to talk about current action. That's all my post was about was not being able to talk games with anybody cause nobody posts anymore
