Is it possible that major leaguers just have D potential so that they don't improve ridiculously? Whereas minor leaguers have much more room for improvement so B potential makes sense?

Not everyone hooks their gaming console up to the internet.

Something like that's absolutely ridiculous, unless they plan on sending you an update cd every second week.

It sorta bugs me that so many games come with huge bugs that the development team just fix after the fact. It's not like a computer operating system where almost every computer is hooked up to the net and you put in service packs to fix giant chunks of crap.

This is a video game and roster updates shouldn't be required for a functional game.

If you have a computer that hooks up to the internet, there's no reason you can't hook your gaming console up to the internet.

And I hate to say it, but this is becoming the norm for video games. If you'd not willing to hook your console up to the internet, you're behind on the times. People may not like it, but you've got to be willing to adjust with the times...

By the way, the "roster" issue is not something that makes the game non-functional.

Yah, I guess I generalized with the roster update, but just connectivity is the point.

This just seems like an absolutely huge flaw. To me, to continue the software parallel, it seems as if the gaming companies are releasing beta tests and charging full retail price. When you release a retail software product, it better be damn workable, and software updates should just improve on the underlying package.

Stuff like rankings and potential shouldn't be that far off on well known players.

A lot of people don't run cat-5 throughout their house and their internet isn't next to their television -- it's next to their computer.

When you release a product, it should be a finished product.

I know my parents live in a place where highspeed internet isn't available, but that never stopped me from playing video games at their house.

NOBODY needs 2 15's. Buy one high quality 12 with a custom box and high quality amp and that is more than enough.

I know that's why I have'nt decided to buy it yet. I mean a 12 with custom box and a nice amp with installation is in the 200s. I am doing this with my friend. I most likely won't do it, but he just needs cash and those things hit hard (maybe too hard) lol.
