Chris Perez is a mess right now. It's a good thing Kipnis hit that 2-run bomb in the top of the 9th. If he hadn't, Perez may have ended up losing tonight's game as well. Prior to last night's game, I believe Chris had not been in a save situation since July 19th, so hopefully it's just rust. That said, a win is a win and I will gladly take it.

Before the 7 game roadtrip i said i would be happy at 3-4 considering that we had 4 games in fenway and 3 in Texas.We got the 3 games already,if we win today and go 4-3 on this raodtrip.I will be very happy....We have a 3 game sereis with Detroit here starting on Tuesday.Thats a very important series and we miss Verlander again!
