It's going to be interesting to see how many people are really effected by this. On the day of release I bought a box off ebay and just got refunded finally today. I finally emailed asking for a tracking # and they said they were still waiting for their distributor to ship them their product. I asked if their distributor was mama_bear and they said yes so I immediately demanded a refund. The seller has sold 24 boxes so far... not smart.

I haven't...yet, since I'm still hoping for that slight chance the guy's actually gunna buy & ship them at a huge loss, even though I probably have a better chance of finding a ****** in a **********.

It's a scam that works until they get behind, then you'll see negative feedback, and then they'll be gone. They sell to Peter and buy Paul his case with Peters money...and repeat. In the mean time they can do what they want with all the floating money. Seen it before.

Here is my update. Mama_bear** emailed me early this morning saying that he had received notification that my case was being shipped this morning with a Saturday delivery. He said he would email the tracking info later today. As of this post, I have not received the tracking info. I will keep everyone posted.

Well, I'm about to pull the plug on this and file a claim. I just got this response when I asked for tracking:

"Sorry, been dealing with this funeral, please allow me to get with you tomorrow or Sunday to answer your questions"

Referring to the 2 police officers who were shot and killed in St. Pete a few days ago. For me, it's getting to the point to where I feel that the chances of him delivering on my 2 cases is slim to none-and slim just left town, lol. I think I'm going to tell him either tell me they will for sure be out by tomorrow, or give me a refund.

Here is the thing-the guy is not losing money here. To call it a "scam" may be a bit over the top, who knows. They are assuming prices on stuff will drop, and by that they make their cut. If the prices don't drop, buyers will get the run around until prices eventually drop, or they want a refund. By refunding the buyer, mama_bear is out NOTHING.

My auction ended on the 14th. I noticed from his feedback that, apparently, three people have received their cases, and those are the three people that paid the most, $1499 BIN. One of those auctions was two days after mine, so obviously he is shipping whatever cases he gets to the people who paid the most, which makes sense in his situation.

No, the $1499 feedback is for Topps Sterling, not Bowman Sterling.
