What boxes do I have in stock? Current or older boxes? I currently have no boxes of Bowman Chrome or Bowman Draft or Bowman Sterling or Bowman Platinum. Those items usually sell out the same day or next day. Depending on what time of day I receive them. I really have no new products in stock because of my prices. I may have a Topps Opening Day box or two comes to mind. I do know that I am waiting for 2011 Topps to come in February. I expect the hobby and jumbo boxes to sell out probably within a week or less when those hit. I also have some single cards I sell for customers on a commission basis in my store. I do have some older 1990s Topps, Score, Fleer, Upper Deck in my $10 and $5 bins no one seems to want to buy.
Sorry. I am not going to go down to my store and take inventory for you.
I think you might be from NY? I would tell you where my store is however I am not allowed to quote the prices I pay for my product. I am only able to do this because I am anonymous and there are about 5000 baseball card shops in the NYC area. But I would love for you to come in and be a regular. Most of the time we sit around and shoot the stuff.
hockeyplayer do you have any more videos to share with us? I enjoyed the laugh. I am sure you can come up with some more. I would love to see them.

Trust me. What I say is true or someone would have posted a Topps direct invoice showing otherwise, if I were a liar. Which I am not.
As far as believing me or another seller or not believing me.
Whatever floats your boat.

All right smartallecks, how do you propose that a baseball card store can stay open besides mine paying the prices you are quoting leaving no room for product that is not sold and having to pay for it any way and keeping the high interest and selling items affordable to make a profit and stay in business with the costs of running and keeping a shop open?
I would love to hear your theories on this.

No card shops make their money by selling wax. The profit margin is to small. They make money on selling singles and buying cards customers pull from wax and then reselling those. I worked in a card shop most of my teenage years and ordered many products direct for the store and there is no way you are getting them that cheap. Also you asked others to show their invoices but yet you for some reason wont show yours to end the arguement. so post your invoice and we can be done arguing

hockeyplayer I watched that video and it made me laugh. I have some customers who look like that guy. I wish I was as young and could move like him. But I bet I had more fun in the 1960s then he has. I did like the music sort of. It is not Elvis or Willie or Johnny but it was a funny sketch.
Oh and you left off a few things from your questionairre:
E None of the above and is he real
Which is the correct answer.
Is that music what card collectors here listen to? I like the humor but would never get any thing pierced or my hair cut that way.
Any way. I do not want to take away from mama bears discussion so I will let you digest this.
Please keep an open mind especially if no one dares to put a copy of a Topps direct invoice on here backing up my cost.
In America you are innocent until proven guilty and no one can prove me guilty. I promise you that.

I'd go with a insanity plea in your case.

There aren't 5,000 card shops left in the entire COUNTRY let alone the NYC area. I know of 3 in Connecticut, I'd guess you could find 15-20 in the greater NYC area MAYBE.

If I go down to the store and find an invoice what would you want me to read off of it. I have no way to put it on a computer. However I'd think younger sellers who get direct also would have the capabilities to prove me wrong by putting up their real invoices from their product. I have an old 98 Windows PC and am not a big internet user. I do email and check some sites like this and eBay some times. But I have no printer to post my invoices.
So you are right I have no way to prove what I am saying I guess.
So either you want to believe me or you do not want to believe me. It seems that most do not want to believe me. And again I go back to in America you are innocent until proven guilty. So I am telling the truth unless someone wants to scan a direct invoice and post it. Which will not happen because other direct dealers know that I am telling the truth. They just want to bash me.
So I can not prove it because I do not have a printer to print it on here.
Back in the day, we used to say CONFORMITY KILLS! THINK FOR YOURSELF!
So at least be open minded that what I am saying could be the truth.
It is.

Typo. I meant 500 card shops in NYC and its burrows. I kind of count NJ as a burrow because I do get some business from there also. One or two from CT. If there are only 3 shops in CT makes sense its so small then that may be why I have a few from CT stop by every now and then.

Keep an open mind. Or are you a seller also?
Not every one can be as cool as you and ready to hand over their information to Wikileaks like the Flash. Especially if they don't have a good computer and printer.

Makes you think though.
If I did have a printer and rushed down to print the invoices and showed them on here, other dealers would report me to Topps and I would not be allowed any more direct product from them for disclosing the prices on paper with my store and my name on it, address, and phone number. I would never be allowed to buy direct from Topps again.
I forgot about the disclosure notice so no one can put up a copy of a Topps direct invoice on public domain and the privacy rules.
Pretty smart guys.
Pretty smart.
But you will not put me out of business thanks to my old Windows 98 PC.
Still what I have written is what I paid for my products and what I sell them for.
And thats the way it is.

Guys - stop even humoring this guy. A guy who lives in the "burrows" at that. Reminds me of the mole that always "boroughs" in my back yard.

This.

He's clearly a troll as he is clueless on what bowman chrome and sterling actually cost direct. He hasn't said one thing so far that is factual.

He could easily white out his name/shop address/account info and just leave the Topps letterhead as proof if he were telling the truth, but of course, this whole thing is just a rouse.

Exactly. Prove everyone wrong by scanning a copy of the invoice and white out all of your information. Post it here. BOOM. Pretty easy. Also, if this all bought direct from Topps, then why are all of the cases drop shipped?
