I have a habit of collecting ballparks. Problem of it is, I've been to every park within 500 miles of home.

Thursday I made it to Isotopes Park, which is really, really nice. It is the 111th ballpark in which I have seen pro baseball.

The humidor must be broken as the Isotopes topped the Redbirds thanks to 5 home runs, including a three run home run by a relief pitcher in the second inning (odd, obviously), and another Isotope hit for the cycle. The teams combined for 15 runs and 21 hits in the first four innings, which last 1 hour and 47 minutes.

Great ballpark, really enjoyed it!

Impressive anniversary! Do you collect cards of Boeing planes? Would seem like a natural.

F that!

This is a once-a-year type trip for me, hate it! I cannot fathom how much driving you post about doing. Heck, the 45 minutes I drive twice a week to work drives me nuts enough...

Haha, I don't mind the car trips too much. Plus, I like the drive from here to Minnesota since there's many different landscapes to look at. Start off in the Sandhills of Nebraska, see the Badlands of South Dakota, flat prairies, slowly getting greener as we head east, then through some of the greenest hills I've seen in Minnesota.

I know MojoDan hates it when I say this every year, but today is just another example of why the British Open is a terrible tourney to be a Major...

Gin and tonics are helping while I watch the Yankees lose. Watching this game sober would be sad.

60% chance of rain tonight --- I packed up in eighth inning , made medium goal *** in mostly $1.00 sales . So after paying four nights fees I'm up $4.00 for tonight .
