Thanks guys. I appreciate all the thoughts and word. :D

Ralph- I'm in Indianapolis though. So Pittsburgh's health care won't do much for me. ;)

Scott- I have a golf ball size kidney stone in my left kidney. They are going to put a stent from my left kidney to my bladder and then use lithotripsy to try and break up the stone so that I can pass it.

The only thing that sucks is I can't have anything to eat or drink until after the procedure. That means I didn't get to have my coffee this morning.

Yikes. That totally sucks man. Hopefully it's quick and painless.

These. Bam. With the potential of getting all low end Decades cards, you did extremely well for half a case.

Good Morning Gents!!! Been a crazy and busy week life and work wise and glad tomorrow will be the end of my work week :?

Joe - Very much best of luck today on the surgery and I hope you recover well :grouphug:

Scott - Great to hear your uncle is doing better, I hope for the best with your grandfather and the teacher cuts just really make me shake my head. Hopefully how far down the list you are there can be a chance they decide on 20 instead of 25.

Frosty - GREAT mini leather lot you posted yesterday...and I was correct about you snagging a Jeter ;)

Keith - Nice break man!!! A lot of great players from those boxes

Alex - Hope you feel better soon...and don't spread the bug around, we have a nasty one going on at my work too.

Kevin - Yikes! That is a monster spider for these neck of the woods. I hope the shipping receiver is okay...the furry spider must have been hungry.

Here's how money for education is being wasted....not in the classrooms, but in administration, trying to ban controversial words from tests...

::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

New York (CNN) – Divorce. Dinosaurs, Birthdays. Religion. Halloween. Christmas. Television. These are a few of the 50-plus words and references the New York City Department of Education is hoping to ban from the city’s standardized tests.

The banned word list was made public – and attracted considerable criticism – when the city’s education department recently released this year’s "request for proposal" The request for proposal is sent to test publishers around the country trying to get the job of revamping math and English tests for the City of New York.

The Department of Education's says that avoiding sensitive words on tests is nothing new, and that New York City is not the only locale to do so. California avoids the use of the word "weed" on tests and Florida avoids the phrases that use "Hurricane" or "Wildfires," according to a statement by the New York City Department of Education. <<I get this, but this is for socially sensitive issues within a local area, not religious pandering in a public, supposedly secular school>>

In its request for proposal, the NYC Department of Education explained it wanted to avoid certain words if the "the topic is controversial among the adult population and might not be acceptable in a state-mandated testing situation; the topic has been overused in standardized tests or textbooks and is thus overly familiar and/or boring to students; the topic appears biased against (or toward) some group of people."

Since I am sitting here at work bored and half asleep, I decide to watch some Netflix on my phone.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil - good movie, funny and bloody. I rate this film a 4.1/5.0. Not for the kiddies (foul language and violence - but no nudity :( ) but a good flick for a dull evening on the couch.

Good Morning guys.
Earlier this morning the wife woke me up to tell me my car alarm was going off. So she just pushed the button and came back to bed.
About 10 minutes later it did it again. The car is a Hyundai Sante Fe. I lost on of the automatic unlock thing form my key chain sometime in the past week. So anyway this event went on for about 2-3 hours this morning even though we just left the doors unlocked the last time.

See if you lock the car with just the key in the door (I did not though) you then have to unlock it in the same fashion or this stupid alarm goes off and then you even can't start the car even if you put the key in the ignition. It is a factory ******** alarm system.

All last week I did not lock my door since I was able to park in the garage, because my oldest daughter was house sitting for someone. But last night was when I noticed it missing (lost since it fell off do to the leather strap wearing out from age I'm sure.

I just the spare yesterday to lock the door and did notice it locked the car but it not sound the horn like it does to tell you it was locked. Seemed weird. But I think it was because it was the the one I actually used to drive the car yesterday, you know the last one in the car ignition? Not sure if this matter but it is the only thing I can think of. But what is truly weird, I was up for about 2 hours after I got home and it did not do it. I locked it right after I got home.
Sorry for the long read.

Free WiFi rocks. Brought the iPad so that Crystal would have something to do while I'm in surgery. Decided I would log in and say hi from the hospital.

Did pre registration on the phone Tuesday. So just waiting to check in.

Made a few offers on ebay this morning. Hate it when a seller has a bin or b/o option on a 55-65 dollar card and I offer something as much as 45-50 and its auto declined. if you want full price dont click the best offer option. Irritates the piss out of me.

So you want a card that normally sells for up to $65 for $45 and are mad the seller doesn't accept that?

no.. the card if at auction will sell within the range I offer. im not out to screw anyone. it may book for 60-70 but setting a bin of 59.99 or such doesnt work 95% of the time. I look at completed auctions or similar items and base my offers off that information.
