...yea baby, lay down the gauntlet!!
Sox split in Anaheim, win game 3 at home and I get to see the clinching game on Monday the 12th. I was present for Ortiz's walkoff series-clinching win in 2004 and Manny's walkoff in 2007, both against Angels. Predicting Jason Bay wins series with walkoff
I wish that I shared your enthusiasm!
I love the Sox but it seems this team has a real hard time hitting good pitching.
Sure, they beat up on bad and medicore pitching but it seems when they face someone good, their patient approach goes out the window and I see a lot of guys swinging at first pitches and popping up. Frustrating.
By the way, what in the blue hell was Youk looking for last night in that situation?
3-2, 2 outs with a guy having some control issues.
He should have been sitting on DEAD RED!!!!!
It's playoff time and it's Sox vs. Angels....'til the Angles prove they can play with the Big Boys, Sox fans should be optimistic. It comes down to starting pitching. If Beckett is the 2007 Beckett, look out...if he is the 2008 version, Sox are in trouble.
I agree that Youk fell asleep at the wheel......
